Leadership BEEP is a four-day, activity-enriched program where students evaluate their leadership and personality styles through the use of self-assessment tools, intense workshops and interaction with African-American executives and their student peers.

Leadership BEEP will help students to:

• Increase their understanding of effective leadership strategies and practices
• Begin to take responsibility for their own leadership development
• Increase self-awareness as well as understand how others may perceive them
• Gain information, skills and self-confidence to become successful leaders
• Establish formal mentor relationships with African-American executives
• Share views, insights and to network
• Develop action plans to implement personal change
• Learn to identify and avoid leadership pitfalls
• Create specific action plans for success
• Master the art of effective networking
• Develop business acumen, political and organizational savvy
